“I discovered Michèle Destarac’s work at the publisher Yves Michalon in the 1990s.

I have never been able to forget the expressive power of this painting. It was only twenty years later that I met the artist and organized a major exhibition. You have to let yourself be overwhelmed by the power of the colors and the sureness of the line.
