Bruno Mouron and Pascal Rostain are two photojournalists who have been working together for several decades. Their two names are inseparable, synonymous with exploits, audacity, and quality in their field: stolen photography. Mouron intended to become a wildlife photographer after joining the photography department at IDHEC. His career finally began thanks to a scoop sold to Match . Rostain, meanwhile, was destined for a commercial career. He gave it up to join Paris Match after bringing back photos from N'Djamena in the midst of the Chadian war. After ten years at Match , Mouron and Rostain created their own agency: Sphinx and collaborate with major international magazines such as: Stern, Vanity Fair, Sunday Times magazine, El Mundo, etc.

Today, they are opening their archives to publish their most striking photos. Bruno Mouron and Pascal Rostain recounted their exploits in a book, Scoop , published by Flammarion in 2007, followed by more than thirty years of photographic collaboration in the Famous catalog, which led to two major exhibitions in Paris in 2012, one at the Palais de Tokyo and the other at the Maison Européenne de la Photographie.
