"In Clothilde Lasserre's porcelain and painting, the colors are beautifully revealed in the subject of the crowd seen from above. A recurring motif in Clothilde Lasserre's paintings. Today, this theme is like an echo of the very special period we are living through."

Clothilde Lasserre depicts the individual in their relationship to themselves and to others. From the balance born of contrasts and opposition, she imagines life from above and constructs intimate scenes that
revolve around the complexity of social relations. She imagines human celebrations, abstract and stained. The crowd is often agitated there and yet the individual has never been so blatant,
planted in the heart of this mass. The multitude and the unity overlap and oppose each other to form a coherent whole that the artist stages through a palette of colors
harmonious. Contrasts highlight the delicate balance of life.
She observes herself, we observe ourselves from a fragile distance. Before her eyes, things teem, run, talk, and live. The transparency of the oil color, the lightness of the touch allow her to convey a sense that everything is connected, the infernal merry-go-round of provoked chance. The touches marked by thickness stage the movement of life, the constant evolution that characterizes it. They convey a certain disorder that paradoxically highlights the serenity and richness born of contact with others.
Clothilde regularly exhibits in galleries and participates in numerous fairs and exhibitions in France as well as internationally.
